  • The Litvak Connection

The Litvak Connection is a documentary by Richard Bloom scheduled for completion in late 2008. The documentary focuses on the Jewish population in Latvia and Lithuania murdered by Nazi collaborators. The vast majority of the 275,000-plus Latvian and Lithuanian Jews were murdered prior to the U.S. entering World War II in December, 1941.

The interview with Aryeh Rubin includes a discussion of Operation: Last Chance, the collaboration between Targum Shlishi and the Israel Office of the Simon Wiesenthal Center that offers rewards for information leading to the conviction of Nazi war criminals. (Video footage is 8.5 minutes.)
